St Luke's Radiology, Specialist Clinical and Imaging Services in Oxford

Our small and friendly team of experts provide specialist clinical and imaging services at St. Luke’s Hospital in Headington Oxford, Oxfordshire. 

We are registered with most major health care insurance companies and our rates are all within their reimbursement links which means no additional charges for insured patients. We can also accommodate noninsured patients who wish to self-fund; our current fees can be found here.

Our Doctors have admitting rights for MRI and other procedures at Genesis Care Oxford, Cobalt Health (Cheltenham), or European Scanning (Harley Street, London).

We arrange and report examinations using electronic links to our cloud-based patient archiving and communication system (PACS). Images are transferred to us electronically, we report them electronically and can make the reports available to any of your medical advisors.

We will make the referral, arrange investigation, report the examination, and archive the images at no additional charge for all referrals channeled through our practice. The remote hospital will bill patients at the same rate as their standard charges.

We are able to provide excellent radiographic images for the clinicians offering outpatient and inpatient care at St Luke’s Hospital. We are also able to receive referrals from any practitioners and can offer competitive private rates. We are registered with major health care insurance companies and will only charge rates within their reimbursement limits.
 
We have particular expertise in the imaging of musculoskeletal disorders. Radiology reports are written by specialist consultant musculoskeletal radiologists and a consultant radiologist with general medical and surgical experience. The report is available in a secure online format for the referring clinician.

Ultrasound Diagnostics & Guided Injections

At St Luke’s Radiology, we have a purpose-built ultrasound room with state of the art ultrasound equipment. We offer a full range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for disorders of the musculoskeletal system.

This form of scanning is used for diagnosing certain musculoskeletal disorders and, if clinically necessary, for injecting the patient for any particular disorder discovered during the ultrasound scan. Procedures are undertaken by specialist consultant musculoskeletal radiologists and the report is available in a secure online format with easy access to the images for the referring clinician.

St Luke's Radiology Oxford Ltd provides a service for doctors and other practitioners who write expert witness reports for legal claims. We can provide the following imaging services: ultrasound, x-ray, MRI and arthrogram (please note that imaging using ionising radiation will be subject to IRMER regulations).

Dr David Wilson can provide expert witness reports for legal claims involving all types of musculoskeletal injuries and negligence, including the spine.
